Anik Lescure
Sculptor.
Artist self-taught sculptor, exile of a distant island, Anik is reborn thanks to the modelling of the clay. She passes on through her sculptures in earth the spicy nuances of her Malagasy origins. Anik sculptures the woman who symbolizes her. She likes lingering over sensual curves, suggestive attitudes, to reveal us emotion, sensualism, passion.
A first exhibition in 2005, in "Villa Duflot" in Perpignan, opens her the doors of an unexpected success and consolidates her to follow its artistic road. From then on, she does not stop working, taking courses to understand all the techniques.
Thus, she perfects her clays and pass as well from some resin to the bronze, with a constant concern to translate at best the essence of its sensations. Anik is present in numerous private collections today. She does not stop exploiting any horizon to feed her thirst of creativity.
