Frédérique Callu was born in Tours (Indre et Loire) in 1968. She lives and works in Paris and Montreuil. Self-taught at age 12, she dedicates her art to the service of black and white. In the digital age she has kept and mastered the magic of traditional techniques of film photography, shooting, laboratory work, retouching and manual coloring to find her own photographic writing.

Born at the time of the events of 68, it is this inheritance and that of the free women that she declines in this series "Woman Attitudes". Each work opens up a universe dotted with classy, committed, urban, feminine messages.
