Isabel Mahe
Painter
"Perfectly self-taught: of an independent nature, I learned the trade, alone in front of my easel, by dint of tenacity, passion ... and self-criticism.
I had to reinvent by empiricism the techniques of the painters, to experiment without end the mixtures of colors, the contrasts, the shades and the lights.
I gradually customized my work using pure colors, superimposed, fluid, on a patterned relief structure.
My nature spontaneously taking me to the curve, my favorite subjects were from the beginning focused on female models. Nudes, portraits or still lifes, my works bear an undeniable mark of femininity. "
