Lionel Daviet
Photographer
Lionel Daviet discovered the magic of photo development at a very early age with his father's lab in the family garage.
He then joined an artists' collective with whom he presented his first exhibitions.
After various professional experiences, notably in the fashion world, where he worked with photo studios and model agencies, he made his first steps as a photographer by producing a series of reports for a tourist group.
On his return, he was contacted by a fashion magazine for which he produced his first editorials before joining a Geneva studio where he specialised in photo retouching, working for the major Swiss watch and jewellery brands, as well as in cosmetics and advertising.
In parallel to his work in the studio, he publishes in 2015 with Schnoek Editions, in collaboration with Charlène Perillat, the book "It Bag", bringing together a hundred diptychs of people revealing their intimacy: the contents of their bag and them, naked, in their environment.
Today he collaborates with several magazines, including King Magazine, by publishing series of nudes in pop settings, placing nudity sublimated by sets reminiscent of 1970s California.
