Soraya De Vittoria
Artist
My name is Soria De Vittoria, I live in Hauts de Seine. I am a multidisciplinary painter.
Art has always been present around me from an early age. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been fascinated by writing and the harmony of colors, shapes and materials. I come from a manual, avant-garde family, which meant I knew my path and discovered the world of art from an early age. I draw my inspiration from the masters of Italian and Spanish painting (Michelangelo, Francesco Goya...) as well as pop art.
My career path began at the age of 14 when I entered a hairdressing school. Following this training, I worked as a hairdresser and make-up artist in Parisian palaces. I went on to join the Montmartre corsetry school, and then worked in antique furniture restoration. At present, I work in the field of engraving and calligraphy on perfume bottles for major brands (Dior, Lancôme...). To perfect my art, I attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The trades I've practiced are all based on harmony, shaping, aesthetics and elegance; notions that are unique to me, coherence being a guiding thread in my thought patterns as an artist. In recent years, I've decided to make a living from my art, exhibiting and selling my work on social networks under my artist name (soraya_de_vittoria). I've always had an artistic sensibility and an attraction for color harmony since the age of four. I use mixed techniques (collage, transfer, etc.), but I mainly paint with my fingers on canvas, textiles, wood and glass bottles...
