Virginio Vona

Virginio Vona was born in 1969 in Rome, the city where he began to take his first steps in the artistic world. Since little boy his great passion for drawing and his first appearances are in the magazine Sports and Cultural "Intrepido of Turin" in the 80s where he publishes caricatures.
His passion for drawing leads him to undertake studies that begin with a five-year period in a graphic design school in advertising Federico Cesi in Rome, followed by two years at Comics International Comics School in Rome and later by two years at the San Giacomo Institute of Art in Rome.
In the 90s in Rome working with the publishing house of Comic Book Fenix and realizes 3 volumes of comics Demon Story. Virginio goes further and develops the trompe l'oeil technique. In 2000, he moved to Paris, continuing his artistic activity as a 3D Graphic and 2D Graphic Designer and illustrator essentially. He collaborates in the field of architecture and later as a painter and draftsman. Just in the city of Light Paris, he created a character named "Fenice", a comic book published between 2008 and 2018. his name appears in Art Price and the Larousse painters. In 2014, his work including a canvas and comic strips officially enter the Angoulême comic book museum in France
